In love with this app and I downloaded it only two days ago.

Probably what the default music app should be at this point. Highly customizable and easily navigable. Its honestly a steal at $0.99 to get rid of ads. Only changes I would make / add is an option to not blur the background and an option to hide particular buttons in the Now Playing View (Musixmatch, specifically). Other than that, this is the perfect music app for me. Highly recommended.

Great music player, love the style and look of the app. Lots of great options. Shuffle is good but wish it was better. It will still play some of the same songs over. Its a little sluggish on my 6+. Just needs a few small tweaks to make it faster with a deeper shuffle. With all that itll be 5 stars and Id definitely spend .99 to make it ad free.

This is what Apples stock music app should have been. Its extremely efficient for navigating large music libraries. It has every piece of functionality you could want in a beautiful package

I hated the music app when I updated, I still do. Making everything so much more complex, and I missed my pre iOS 8.4 days. This app, it has all your currently downloaded music in playlists, albums, song list. It had simplicity and no Apple Music! I will recommend this app to anyone who is craving an easy way to access music.

This app is really great, and the interface is nice!! If you could open songs from other apps into this one it would really be perfect!!

The only complaint I have about this app is that the repeat button will randomly turn itself off, causing me to have to restart a playlist over again and this is a bit frustrating.

Ive been unhappy with the built-in music app for years, and Ive tried ( and payed for ) pretty much every half-way descent music app in the store. Really. All of them. And while some were pretty good, Marvis is the only one that isnt just better than the alternatives, but a fine app all around. For instance, I like to shuffle-all in a play list. Its right there, with nice bug playlist icons so its easy to use. Never crashes, plays nice with the itunes music settings ( doesnt mess with playlists, or make internal copies for whatever reason, which Ive seen on a couple other apps ). OK, just trust me, this is the one you want. And throw money at the developer, so we can keep nice things ( my previous favorite was CarTunes, which was really nice also, but appears abandoned ).

This app just keeps getting better! I use this app every day in the gym, this is by far and away the best music app Ive found so far, lets u do on the go playlists, edit those playlists, and all the songs under album view are alphabetized so you dont have to go digging through albums looking for a song, thats really important, who knows what songs are on what albums anyway?! Even gives you a play history so you can add songs to an on the go playlist from there!!! This app is sick. The update jus made it even better =D think of this app as a spectacular controller for apple music, too bad apples own music app isnt even close to this good. Update: Now that ive played with the new apple music and all that this is still far and away my go to app for music Update: I h8 the light theme. Bought it as a means of support. Love this app :) Update: thanks for those bug fixes, this app really is the best

Marvis by far is the best music player on the App Store out of the countless other apps that Ive tried out. And with the developer providing plenty new and constant updates, this app only gets better with time.

This is the best of the best when it comes to music players for your iOS device. Its clean, uncluttered, looks great and is ULTRA responsive even on older devices. Whether youre running it on an iPhone, iPad or iPod youll find the speed is fantastic. Ive tried all the others, this is the one and only I need now - its perfect!

Ive been an iPhone user for 6 years already. The native Music App provided a very satisfying experience, never perfect, but fulfilled its purposes. With the arrival of iOS 7, many things changed, some for the better, many for the worse. Since 2013, the native app experience has been worsened. Since 2013, I started the search for a replacement. Some apps came close to provide that experience that I was looking for: easy, powerful and with a decent user interface. But none was ever good enough to make me stop searching. I came across Marvis, and from the beginning it seemed familiar. Just 10 seconds of exploration, and I discovered a level of customization that I havent seen in any other app, its mind blowing how simple to use it is, so intuitive, plays your purchased music, DRMd music, plays very fast on my iPhone 6S Plus. Its not so responsive on my iPod Touch 5th generation, which is comparable in processing power to an iPhone 4S, but that its not a problem of the app itself at all, its the old processor, and even so, its still more usable than the native app. The Spotlight integration is amazing, which is something that very few apps even offer. I cant recommend this app enough. The support from the developer is amazing, and it adds up to the whole experience. So finally after this time I can say, its finally here.

Easily recognizes every song stores on my phone and saved to my Apple Music account. Plays all songs without missing a beat. Overall best music player

I like this music app a lot better than Apples new built in music player.

This is good though I dont understand the artwork rendering. Also can the album artwork be bigger when looking on now playing. I wish the lyrics text size wasnt based off of the iPad settings. Text size should be within the app. Why are the artists pics of their albums and not the people. There needs to be a tutorial type of thing showing how to use it cause theres so much stuff I dont understand what its for especially when looking in settings

I absolutely love this app. It has everything Ive been searching for in one app. If I could hug the developer I would. It has a clean look and a lot of configurations that are cool.

A Sickening Tragedy how Apple has gone AWOL on their creative & loyal customers love for customizing/configuring their Apple products to create genuinely personal devices. As many have noted, way too much functionality and personal customization has been removed from what Apple is currently offering. Perhaps if Tim Cook had the Foresight, Innovative Vision, Incredible Communication, and Capable Leadership Abilities of the Greatly Missed Steve Jobs this product quality and reliability fiasco that Apple has plummeted "stem-first" into would be nothing but some ridiculously vapid rumor slapped together and released by (yet) another maladjusted group of microsoft dinks... But, FORTUNATELY, Aditya Rajveer and the marvelous MARVIS comes along and offers us the ability to actually personalize our music listening experience, once again! This User Interface Rocks... WORLDS beyond what Apple is currently capable of producing… it seems (not even offering us the choice to roll into Landscape mode in the stock Music App.) REALLY, Apple??? Thank You, Aditya, for your contribution to bringing back what Apple used to offer its customers – the right to adjust the look & functions of ones experience to make the tech work "just right" for the unique needs of each individual. Read through some of the other reviews for specific details and see what I mean! I Highly Recommend This!

For the UPDATE: Finally! I have been waiting for the last.fm integration and it didnt disappoint. The artist images in the artist view is just what I have been looking for that even the stock music app fails to do because all artists have images. Thanks to the wonderful developer for continuing making this app superior to any music app out there. Just as I thought this app couldnt be better since it is already phenomenal from the get-go, the developer surprised me again with the new enhancements. The IAP Light theme will definitely awe many users. The interface, the design, the ability to create playlist, just the whole experience with this app is really superior to any music app out there. Highly recommended. Apple should take notes from the creator of Marvis (and hire him) on how to make its stock music app interesting.
